Turn Clocks Ahead This Weekend – Lose An Hour

clock lakewoodThe good news: Sunday’s clock change may make it feel like we’re one step closer to spring. The bad news: You will be losing a precious hour of sleep. Daylight Savings Time is headed our way this weekend, and the clocks skip ahead an hour Sunday at 2 a.m.

Each year we lose an hour of sleep on the second Sunday in March, and get it back the first Sunday in November when the clocks are set back an hour.

Fire departments also remind residents to use the time to change the batteries in their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.

  1. The only one who is losing precious time learning is you since you are posting on the internet instead of sitting in front of a sefer!

  2. even if we don’t want to lose an hour, we have to just deal and make the best of it. we are getting closer to warm weather and that means summer fun is not that far away. back to amusement parks, rita’s and swimming in the pool after a hot day in the sun. there’s a lot to be thankful for.
