Tuesday’s session Helping Teens Cope with Stress and Challenges is open to the Community and starts at 7:45pm (there is no admission fee).
Wednesday’s session is open to mental health and education professionals and is by pre-registration (there is no admission fee).

ROBERT BROOKS, PhD, one of today’s leading experts on resilience, is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and has served as Director of the Department of Psychology at McLean Hospital, a private psychiatric facility. An international speaker renowned for his engaging presentations to educators, mental health professionals, and parents, he is the recipient of numerous awards for his work with families and children with special needs, learning differences and other challenges.
Dr. Brooks is the author and co-author of 16 widely-read books, including Raising Resilient Children, Raising a Self-Disciplined Child, The Self-Esteem Teacher, Seven Steps to Improve Your Child’s Social Skills, Raising Resilient Children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Understanding and Managing Children’s Classroom Behavior, and The Power of Resilience: Achieving Balance, Confidence, and Personal Strength. In addition, he has appeared on national cable and network television, and has developed and participated in educational videos on parenting and promoting resilience in children facing a range of challenges. He maintains a private practice for children, teens, adults and families.
