TUESDAY – UPDATED: Lakewood School District Closed, No BOE Busing

[UPDATED] Due to the snowy and icy road conditions this morning, all public schools are closed, and there is no BOE busing.

Check with your child’s private school for an exact opening schedule.

Lakewood public schools website says they are closed today. Are you sure that its only 90 minute delay? Jackson and howell are also closed

I’m trying to give the township the benefit of the doubt, but my street was still not plowed since the snow that fell on Saturday, so we have snow on top of snow! It wasn’t a major storm so I think there was enough time to get to all the streets from Sunday morning until Monday night. If not, they need to get more trucks and/or manpower.

Why can’t our main arteries ( Clifton , kennedy , 88, county line ) look remotely close to route 9? I drove down 9 at 930 am and it was slid and span all the other roads terrible . I knosnits state road but don’t we have township trucks and salt ?! With hundreds of millions literally being poured in by real estate taxes something has to be fixed with the system
