The Toms River Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a driver involved in a hit and run which left a man dead.
On December 25th, at approximately 10:38 am, police and medical units were dispatched to the intersection of Highland Parkway and Herflicker Boulevard for a man lying in the roadway. Upon arrival the officer’s located the victim, Keith Elliott, 45, of Messenger Street in Toms River. Mr. Elliott was deceased and no lifesaving efforts were able to be performed.
