TRPD Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Bank Robber

bank robbery suspectThe Toms River Police Department is seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect in a bank robbery.

At approximately 6:45 PM on Friday, July 10, a man entered the TD Bank located at 10 Mule Road and handed the teller a note demanding cash. The male then left the bank on foot and fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as a white male, 25-35 years old, approximately 5’09” and 170 pounds. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black Chicago Bulls Starter hat with a “doo rag” underneath it, white sunglasses, a long sleeve sweat shirt with grey sweat pants cut off below the knees and black sneakers.

Anyone who can identify the man captured in the surveillance photo is urged to contact Detective James Carey at 732-349-0150 extension 1292 or Detective Steve Bucci at extension 1300.
