  1. i can hardly believe it has anything to do with access to firearms because everyone has access to firearms they are readily available for purchase to who ever wants them, my theory is the ones that commit suiside had issues before ie.. self esteem or inferiority complex etc.. thinking becoming a cop will cure them instead of seeking therapy or treating the underlying problem, and all they get is stress and people not being appreciative and a high pressure job that can kill them, to sum it up it starts before the job and i hope departments will start evaluations to its officers on a regular basis,

  2. #1 How can you say that??? Where you ever a cop?? Do you know what they go through on a daily basis to keep YOU safe??? It is a real stressful world out there it can take a big toll on them, appreciate what the cops do. However on your point with firearms I do agree with you, if someone wants to take their life you don’t need a firearm.

  3. #3 you missed my whole point 1) a philological sound person does not take his own life just because of stress which is why 99.9 percent of cops dont off themselves 2)you say you agree with me on my point about firearms being readily available to anyone but then say you dont need a firearm to take your life theres some kind of disconnect going on here

  4. I am in a cop family and I agree with #1 if you have a illness you would commit suicide I don’t think the job would bring that on. It is a stressful job and you do deal with stupid people but I can’t see anyone in my family doing that they love G-d their families and themselves to much to take their lives.
