Trash piling up? Here’s what you can do in Lakewood

Many have been wondering how to get rid of piles of trash after Yom Tov, as pickup for some areas is not until later in the week.

The resident drop-off area at the Lakewood Public Works, located at 1 America Avenue, is open 7 days a week from 7:30am-3pm, except for legal holidays.

All household garbage and recycling is accepted, as well as bulk, metal and pallets.

  1. Mosdos would be happy to pick up your pallets also. Just about every mosad (at least boys’) make Lag Ba’omer fires. The TWP does not pick up
pallets from homes with bulk garbage, probably because it’s considered a commercial item.
