Is it possible that #3 is Pine River as that is where Ponderosa Drive is.
Don’t schlep cans behind your car, please !
for the people with tuesday pickup will they do their pickup on monday instead?
Where is the DPW site?
It’s a huge Chutzpah that the township can’t figure out how to get us a special trash pickup once a year for Erev Pesach. Especially for zones that have Tuesday pickup, they now have a full weeks garbage on Monday.
Instead you have thousands of cars driving around & shleping garbage (sometimes dangerously).
Where are our politicians???
Do we not pay enough in taxes???
P.S. In NY they always have a special Erev Pesach trash pickup.
Will Chateau Grand parking lot have this year?
#6 The Township has seven sites for pickup, which is seven more than any other municipality around. Don’t be so lazy!!
You want New York services prepare to pay NY taxes.
I agree with # 6!
#8 NY property taxes is much less then ours!
It is not the responsibility of the local government to make special trash pickup accommodations due to a religious observance.
N.J.taxes are way hire then N.y.
# 8, NY tax is cheaper
Mr Old Man:
With all due respect, simple common sense would dictate that it’s a lot safer for a few trucks to drive around & pick up the trash rather than having a few thousand cars clogging the roadways & dragging green dumpsters behind their cars.
How would you recommend that residential vehicles haul a full weeks worth of trash?
It’s not a matter of religion, it’s a matter of filling the needs of a huge percentage of the community in the safest manner possible, that is the townships responsibly.
Not enough trucks to do the whoe town in 1 day,
NY can bring trucks from nearby non jewish neighborhoods to do a pickp
where is dpw?
#14- 6 of the drop of sites have 2 trucks each with personnel, that equals 12 trucks in addition to the trucks doing regular trash pickup.
FYI- our property tax rate is about 4x or 5x the tax rate in NYC !
I don’t get special pick up for my garbarge if the holiday falls on pick up day, I just wait until the next pick up comes around. Many holidays fall on the day of regular pick up. Why can’t I have a special day?
Every neighborhood should have a pickup on Erev Pesach no exception
