Chutzpah

It’s a huge Chutzpah that the township can’t figure out how to get us a special trash pickup once a year for Erev Pesach. Especially for zones that have Tuesday pickup, they now have a full weeks garbage on Monday.
Instead you have thousands of cars driving around & shleping garbage (sometimes dangerously).
Where are our politicians???
Do we not pay enough in taxes???

P.S. In NY they always have a special Erev Pesach trash pickup.

#6 The Township has seven sites for pickup, which is seven more than any other municipality around. Don’t be so lazy!!
You want New York services prepare to pay NY taxes.

It is not the responsibility of the local government to make special trash pickup accommodations due to a religious observance.

Common Sense

Mr Old Man:
With all due respect, simple common sense would dictate that it’s a lot safer for a few trucks to drive around & pick up the trash rather than having a few thousand cars clogging the roadways & dragging green dumpsters behind their cars.
How would you recommend that residential vehicles haul a full weeks worth of trash?
It’s not a matter of religion, it’s a matter of filling the needs of a huge percentage of the community in the safest manner possible, that is the townships responsibly.

#14- 6 of the drop of sites have 2 trucks each with personnel, that equals 12 trucks in addition to the trucks doing regular trash pickup.

I don’t get special pick up for my garbarge if the holiday falls on pick up day, I just wait until the next pick up comes around. Many holidays fall on the day of regular pick up. Why can’t I have a special day?
