We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Yossi Josephson Z”L, a Bachor from Lakewood who was Niftar early this morning following a tragic incident last month.
Yossi Z”L, the son of R’ Melech and Rochel, was 23.
The Levaya will be taking place at 5:30 p.m. today, Thursday, at Bais Medrash Zichron Schneur on 14th Street. Kevurah will be at the 7th Street Bais Olam.
Shivah will take place at 905 14 Street. Shachris 1 will take place at Vasikin, Shachris 2 at 7:30 a.m., Mincha 7 p.m., and Maariv 9 p.m.
Being that Yossi Z”L left behind no children, the family is requesting that the community Learn Mishnayos on behalf of Yosef Tzvi Ben Melech Z”L. (You can view a list of Mishnayos here, and post in comments reserved Mesechta.)

Dear Friends and Acquaintances,
If you are reading this it means you were meant to hear this.
I’ve been speaking to many of you all day today and so many of you have told me that you are too sad or scared or something else to go to his funeral.
Please know that it is of the up most importance that you, yes you – be there. For all of the people (us and others) that may not have been there in his life, let us (however well we did or didn’t know him) be there for him, with him, on these last few steps. Whether it is to ask forgiveness, to be silent, to say goodbye all of this is to honor his soul.
So where ever you are, however you feel – be there.

Rabbi josefson was the cook this year in camp YBH
The devotion he had for the buchurim and the chashivus for the buchurim learning was unbelievable
Even though he was going back and forth to the hospital he was so concerned with the buchurim
He spoke for the buchurim about Emunah and bituchim in a matzav of tzorah
so very sad. My thoughts & prayers are with his family ( cousins of my husband) May he rest in beach & may good memories bring some peace to his family & friends
