We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Yochi Ruby Z”L, who was Niftar this evening. He was approximately one week short of his 25th birthday.
Yochi Z”L, well-known throughout Lakewood, suffered tremendous Yesurim due to his many health complications.
Yochi Z”L would always be seen with groups of friends happy to be around him, day and night. On a constant basis, he would have visitors and singers coming to him from all around the tri-state area and beyond.
“He has impacted the lives of thousands of people,” said a friend. “He was a real friend to all.”
The Levaya will tentatively be taking place at 9:00 AM Friday in front of the Stoliner Shul in Boro Park, and approximately 11:00 AM at the Stoliner Shul on East 7th Street in Lakewood. Kevurah in Deans.

UPDATE – Friday 9:25 AM: The Aron is leaving Brooklyn now, and the Levaya is on schedule to take place 11:00 AM in Lakewood. There will not be any Hespedim, and the Levaya is expected to last just around five minutes.

BD’E. Terrible loss. I’m sure Yochi will be Meilitz Yosher and pul’ois for all who cared for him, spent time with him esp his family and Reb & Mrs Meilich Rubin and family literally gave what they got.

I wasnt zoche to know Yochi but I never saw so many people posting pics and a name for Tehillim on their statuses like they did for this Tzaddik. Rabbosai, you dont have to be a Navi or a Mekubel to realize if a bochur goes through Yesurim like this and is niftar so young, clearly he has an extremely lofty neshama. Those who knew him and helped him, especially R’ & Mrs. Meilech Rubin, and R’ & Mrs. Chaim Boruch Rubin, should know they were in the presence of someone whose kedusha we cant even begin to fathom. Which, of course, makes his petite even more crushingly sad for us.
May H-shem give us the koach, B’Ruach U’b’Geshem to continue serving him, with Simcha !!

Yochi was a Tzadik!
His life-long nisyoinois were immeasurable, yet his Ahavas Yisroel for every single yid and his simchas hachaim somehow eclipsed his suffering!
We can all learn from King Yochi to utilize every minute of our lives for doing good, and to appreciate every breath we take!
We should all be zoicheh to see Yochi again with the arrival of Moshiach, Amein!
