Two Bachurim were killed R”L, and several others were injured after the vehicle they were traveling in this morning hit a tree.
The accident, which occurred at the intersection of North Hope Chapel Road and New Central Avenue in Jackson, caused the vehicle to go up in flames.
Sources tell TLS the vehicle swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway.
Several other Bachurim were in the car as well, two of whom were seriously injured. Hatzolah transported them JSUMC. A third passenger was lightly injured.
North Hope Chapel Road between Clearstream and New Central is closed due to the ongoing investigation.

This is every parent’s worst nightmare. We all need to be extra alert driving in Jackson due to the deer having nowhere to go anymore. The woodlands, their natural habitat is getting destroyed. It’s getting smaller and smaller to accommodate the overpopulation of humans unfortunately.

It is very different than maligning, where one seeks to shame and label another for their bad deeds, which would be the very next part of the pasuk “v’lo sisa alav cheit”.
The axiom basic to judiasm is that EVERY tragedy comes to rectify a wrong. Many times, it is not the specifically the wrong of the person suffering the tragedy per se, but a collective message. (this is very nuanced and admittedly not the forum for this discussion).
We are small, we are few, and we are week because of our Galus, we do not understand why things happen, but we can know it is a call for us to mend our ways.

I never ever read or post news. I just checked in using my cleaning ladies smartphone to read about Chaim Zelig who was a pure tzadik and instead I read comments upon comments of judgement and more judgement. We are not in shamayim and do not understand reasons… when tragedy hits every yid must make a din vachashbon for himself. One thing is sure.
