  1. How do we get the names so we can track how long it is before they are back on the streets? You can be sure it won’t be very long but if its a law abiding citizen with a gun you can be sure he will sit for a good 5 years

  2. Hey Barry and Jim…… how about a thank you to LPD for doing what they do and putting their lives on the line every day just like all of the other first responders like fire and EMS personnel who do what they do to try and ensure your and the rest of the publics safety.

  3. Maybe they were just coming from the zombie walk in Asbury. Seriously, great job, LPD! It is not easy – glad you were safe and had back up.

  4. YID says is correct.

It is easy to make unhelpful remarks, but they do not do justice to the dedication and bravery of LPD Officers, who put their lives on the line for us.

There will always be thugs and an assortment of criminal predators that roam the streets in search of prey.

Our Law Enforcement Officers continue to Protect and Serve. Thank you LPD. Thank you LPD Chief Rob Lawson for managing this PD of Lakewood’s Finest.

  5. “Police say two illegal immigrants, Jesus Avila-Cortes-19 & Santiago Garcia-21, were arrested on weapons charges. Along with a handgun, cops said they also found a machete and brass knuckles with a knife.
Police said they determined both men were illegal immigrants. Garcia was also wanted by the federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement for illegal reentry, police said.”
