Traffic Signal Coming Soon To Another Lakewood Intersection

The County is preparing to put a traffic light at the intersection of Hope Chapel Rd and Miller Rd.

Bids for the project are taking place this week, and the light is expected to be installed within the next few months.

Which other intersections around town do you feel need traffic lights?

  1. Hope Chapel will have 3 lights very close to each other. Will cause major backup till County Line. Its not a solution, just pushing traffic from one spot to the next.

  2. I see the theory behind all of these lights. Put a light at every intersection so that no one can get over 30mph thus reducing the accident rate. Now if they can only figure out how to get people to stop at these lights and stop signs as well.
