Traffic Alert: Detours in Place for the Next Three Weeks on Massachusetts Avenue in Lakewood

The Lakewood Police Department is advising motorists that for the next three weeks there will be ongoing construction on Massachusetts Avenue, between Cross Street and Prospect Street.

St. Lucas Brothers Inc. will be doing improvements to the roadway and there will be limited access.

All emergency vehicles will have access and can proceed with caution.

Traffic will be flowing southbound on Massachusetts Ave at all times and north bound traffic would have to follow the detour signs.

Am I missing something? What is the detour route?

  That map wasn’t trying to show the detour, but to show where the closure is.
  The detour route is presumably to either use the 9 or go more North and West to where Cross meets Prospect. Neither is a good choice, but that’s the only thing it would seem to be able to be.

I WENT THROUGH CROSS TO PROSPECT AND SAT IN MAJOR TREAFFIC this afternoon
