A pipe placement project on Squankum Road is expected to cause heavy delays on the arterial corridor for up to three weeks.
New Jersey Natural Gas will be installing gas delivery pipes under the sidewalks along Squankum Road from County Line Road into Howell.
Motorists can expect traffic from 7 AM- 5PM.
Today, Friday, one entrance to Whispering Pines may be blocked at times.

Can they figure out a way to avoid working on Friday??
Maybe the should wait to fix the sidewalks on County Line until after this project is done. The double construction is causing the traffic to be much worse..
They to put in temporry sidewalk! I saw people walking on the street and the almost got hit. Women walking with little kids, very unsafe
Weird… other parts of town without construction and people still walk in road
Construction in this town is skyrocketting, that means there are so many jobs to cover and work. The town is also trying to keep up with the ever exploding population and can not keep up with the upgrading that is happening..thus it has to be done. You can not wait till last minute on all the construciton, it has to be done now or there will be a catastrophic fail later..repairs must be made, sidewalks must be installed. Unfortunately, there are a lot of outside construction companies doing the work and they mostly work Monday through Saturday, so there is no real alternative to upgrading.
