TRAFFIC ALERT: 3-vehicle MVA Shuts all Lanes on Part of Route 9

PHOTOS: A three-vehicle accident on Route 9 has shut all north and southbound lanes, officials confirm.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Madison Avenue and 8th Street shortly before 9 PM, and involved a car, pickup truck and large truck.

At least one person was injured in the crash, officials said.

As a result of the crash, the truck was left tilted, blocking the southbound lanes, and the other vehicles were left blocking the northbound lanes. All traffic has been detoured between 6 and 8 Streets.
