Chief Mitch Little of the Toms River Police Department would like to invite you and your family to the Toms River Police Department Community Open House. The event will take place Sunday, May 18, at Police Headquarters located at 255 Oak Avenue in Toms River, from 12 noon to 4 p.m.
The Toms River Police Department Community Open house will be an opportunity for residents of all ages to educate themselves about their Police, Fire, and Emergency Management Departments along with many other critical resources provided by the Township of Toms River, and by Community Medical Center.
“It will also give residents an opportunity to interact directly with our officers and allow us to further strengthen the connection to our community,” says Chief Little.
There will be static displays of Police, Fire Department, and Emergency Management equipment, K-9 and motorcycle demonstrations, bicycle registration, free bike helmets, and a bicycle rodeo for the kids. [TLS]
I notice that this is the Toms River police department. Do they allow residents of Lakewood to participate?
Hi Sam. All I can say is that Toms River and Lakewood PD’s have worked hand in hand to solve many crimes together affecting either or both towns, as of late.
