Township: Place Trash & Recycling Cans on Curb During Storm

trash recycling snow tlsResidents who have trash and recycling pickup on Thursday, should place their cans on the curb to ensure the plows can properly clean streets from snow, Mayor Menashe Miller told TLS.

Trash and recycling is expected to be picked up on schedule. If pickup isn’t done on Thursday, it will be done on Friday, the Mayor said.

  1. And if you can not put your can on the curb then we do not have a chice two keep them as close as pose ball is that ok if not then what will happen

  2. Why are there any empty green and yellow cans still left in the street?
Some people are very inconsiderate, esp. since parking is always at a premium.

  3. No 3 your an (moderated). Your comment has nothing to do with the article. We’re discussing street cleaning not parking. Please PAY ATTENTION and stop posting dumb comments & waisting everyone time.

  4. Number 4 relax. We are discussing garbage cans and the inconveniences they “can” cause while in the street. Wether it is caused by snow removal or parking, it should be brought to people’s attention.

  5. How can the streets be cleaned when there are the garbage and recycling cans left on the street, and not removed promptly after the contents have been picked up? Just inconsiderate, or lazy perhaps?
