Township Official: More Calls To JCPL Will Expedite Repair Process

A Township Official has notified TLS that the more people who put a call into JCP&L for repairs, the quicker the electric will be restored. The official explained that the repair-system works by demand, so more calls – even multiple calls from a particular neighborhood – will result in expedited repairs.

The number to call is 888-544-4877.

There is currently about 20,000 JCP&L customers in Lakewood without power, but no estimated time for restoration. TLS.

There is not one single truck working on repairs and its 24 hours since storm ended

I called about the power down, as well as Power lines on the GROUND, Ridge ave. And New Hampshire!!!!!!!

Ashley avenue still without power between Wynatt and Lincoln. There does not seem to be any JCPL workers fixing anything in town.

Lakewood residents need to relax. The power companies can only do so much. There is life lost and lives to protect. Areas are flooding and if you mix electricity with water what do you get?
