Welcome back to all who served, especially my “sister” Dorit Attias.
Few have the courage to serve their country. Dorit has the physical acumen and moral stability to do so without second guessing herself. Her competitive years as a racewalker and her determination to do her best even under extreme duress have served her well. Lakewood should be proud to have Dorit as a member of their community. I am proud to have her as my friend.

I do not want to take away from them in any way. I am friends with both of them. But were they acknowledged just because they have something to do with the town EMS & LFD or do they acknowledge all military personal from the town that come back from the war?
