PHOTO & VIDEO: This evening, Juan Rivera, Custodian of the Township Municipal building, was named as the first Employee Of The Month for Lakewood. Juan was awarded a plaque by the Committee, and will also be receiving a reserved parking space at the building, and his name will be added to an Employee Of The Month plaque located in the Main Lobby of the Municipal Building.
Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien, who spearheaded the program, repeated some of the comments residents submitted about Juan and why they believed he should be awarded the Employee Of The Month.
“He always has a smile on his face, always greets everybody, if he promises to do something it gets done”, Committeeman Meir Lichtenstien said were some of the remarks submitted about Juan.

The form can be dropped off at an Employee of the Month box in the Manager’s Office, via email at [email protected], or via fax to 732-905-5991. (Attn: Township Manager). No employee may nominate himself or herself.
The program was instituted to highlight the achievements of all township employees and recognize those individuals who serve the public and treat fellow employees in an exemplary way. TLS.

Well deserved honor keep up the good work. because one township employee gets the award doesn’t mean that we don’t appreciate all employees work. For the employees that deserve the award you’ll be getting it maybe next month maybe the month after that. If you deserve it you’ll get it. Again, thank you to ALL township employees for all you do for us it is greatly appreciated!

As someone who works inside the municipal building, I could not be happier for Juan! He is an outstanding worker. Every time I see him he has a smile on his face and is quick to say hello. When ever you ask something of him, he does right away!! After working in this building for a little over 10 years, Juan is by far the BEST custodian I have ever seen.
