Township Committee Joins Fairways Community In Fundraiser Breakfast

twp committee fairwaysPHOTOS: Yesterday, the Township Committee joined in a breakfast hosted by the Hebrew Culture Club, to show support and to benefit the Children’s Hospital Of Philadelphia (CHOP). The breakfast, which took place at the Fairways community clubhouse, was addressed by Jack Weber as well as Mike Scheunzeit of CHOP.

The Mayor and all the other members of the Township Committee were in attendance, as well as Township Committee candidate Hal Halvorsen and BOE member Carl Fink, both whom are members of the community.

Close to 200 hundred residents attended the ‘members only’ event.

  1. We have two little miracles that CHOP brought back to life, given the odds, these little miracles are a million to one, and thanks for the special thoughts and gifting CHOPS with a chance for another child to survive.

  2. Thank you to the township committee for attending our most important fund raiser. We also appreciate the TLS for helping get out the word on the childrens hospital of Philadelphia

  3. We want to thank the Lakewood Township Committee for attending this membership event of the Hebrew Culture Club of the Fairways. We hope this is a precursor for better relationships between the Senior community, the Township and the Orthodox Community. The event was a fund raiser for The childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, where great miracles have occured. We collected more than $1,500 for that worthwhile institution. We thank members of the Township Committee in donating to this worthwhile cause.
