Baruch Levine, Shulem Lemmer, and Acheinu have combined their acclaimed talents in recognition of 199 years of their alma mater’s success. They will make a joint appearance and present a special composition, “The Mir Niggun”, at Yeshivas Mir Yerushalayim’s Annual Lakewood Dinner.

The Dinner will take place this Wednesday evening, July 13th, at the Neemas Hachaim Hall. The reception will begin at 8 PM, followed by a program that will include other musical selections by these alumni. The Rosh Hayeshiva has made a special trip from Eretz Yisroel to participate in this momentous event, accompanied by several esteemed members of the hanhalla, including Harav Binyomin Carlebach and Harav Nachman Levovitz.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bauman have been chosen as the Guests of Honor. Mr. and Mrs. Srully Lieberman will be honored with the Kesser Shem Tov Award. Mr. and Mrs. Ushy Heitner will receive the Alumnus of the Year Award.

Harav Moshe Wehl shlit”a, Rav of Bais Medrash Ohel Aharon, will be presented with the Nezer Harbotzas Torah. Reb Shimshon Wulliger will be honored with the Nezer Yotzei Hayeshiva.

The event promises to be a family simcha, celebrating a tradition of the Lakewood community covering one month’s chalukah for the yungeleit of the Mir.
