[COMMUNICATED] A chansuna is ordinarily a time for happiness. A time where one shares their simcha with others.
For many Lakewood families a chansuna becomes a stressful time when the extra toll of chasuna expenses can adversely affect a family — a time of simcha turns into a time of despair.
Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel was established with the guidance of local Rabonim to help alleviate some of that pressure and to assist these families on a larger scale by paying part of a Takana Chasuna.
In the past year alone, Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel has distributed over $225,000 to 90 local families to help pay for Chasuna expenses.
Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel is volunteer operated and all overhead expenses are covered. You can be assured that every penny of your donation is going to help these families build a bayis neaman b’yisrael. Additionally, all funds donated for the parlor meeting will be matched up to $100,000, thus each donation is doubled!
Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel will be holding its annual parlor meeting at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Shmuly Handler, 4 Fillmore Avenue, Lakewood on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 7:00. The Rosh HaYeshiva, HaRav Malkiel Kotler Shlit”a will be delivering divrei Brocha.
It is our hope that Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel will be able to provide financial assistance to alleviate the financial burdens and succeed in helping restore hope and dignity to those who turn to us for assistance.
If you are unable to attend, donations may be made via credit card by going to www.banquest.com/zsy by calling 732-523-2940 or by emailing [email protected] or you may send a donation to Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel, 4260 Route 9, Howell, NJ 07731.
With your help Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel will be able to continue helping Lakewood families.
Zichron Shmuel Yechezkel is a nonprofit 501(c)3 charity.
