This week, Rabbi Rubashkin will begin the fifth cycle of Shaar HaBitachon at his weekly Thursday night Shiur. This life-changing Shiur is very well attended and many are people who have participated since the first Shiur of the first cycle!
They keep coming back – although they already understand the Shaar – because their goal is to bring Bitachon to life in their hearts. That requires the clarity of Torah, through learning, but it’s not enough to have the information in your mind somewhere.
Day after day, the world constantly and continuously pushes a person into a view of reality that is contrary to the truth of Torah and Bitachon. We need to constantly review and bring the truth to the forefront of our mind, seeing it as an accurate and practical description of the world, for it to have the desired effect.
To enhance the understanding of Shaar HaBitachon, helping to internalize its message, for this new cycle Rabbi Rubashkin has added a new Limud to the Shiur and will teach a portion of Shaar Avodas Elokim each week as well.
The Shiur is L’zchus Malka bas Yuta Tzipporah for a Refuah Shelaima u’Krova. L’Maala miDerech HaTeva
