Tonight: Lakewood Alumni and Friends of Yeshiva Karlin Stolin Boro Park to Gather

stolin[COMMUNICAED] Yeshiva Karlin Stolin of Boro Park has now stood as a towering edifice of harbotzas Torah and pure chinuch for 60 years.

For six decades, this special mossad haTorah has done this avodas hakodesh with mesirus nefesh, remaining true to its founding hashkafah—and the results are evident everywhere. That “geshmak,” a term that every Stoliner talmid—and those who around them—are so familiar with; the joy in Torah and tefillah; those are values that never leave the Stoliner talmidim.

There are few communities with such a significant population of Stoliner alumni as the ir haTorah, the Yerushalayim of America; Lakewood. This empire of Torah boasts hundreds of alumni of Yeshiva Karlin Stolin of Boro Park who have acquired their ahavas haTorah and ahavas Hashem right within the walls of Yeshiva Karlin Stolin of Boro Park in their youth.

Hundreds of the chashuve marbitzei Torah, kollel yungeleit who spend their days and nights immersed in hasmadah b’Torah, talented rebbeim, and ehrliche ba’alei batim-bnei Torah who are such a vital part of tyhis Torah community owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to the Stoliner yeshivah who placed them on this path to gadlus.

Tonight! Sunday of parashas im b’chukosai teileichu—(May 29) the Lakewood alumni can repay the yeshivah in a small way at the annual Lakewood event to benefit the yeshivah.

At this upcoming dinner, on Rosh Chodesh Sivan, the yeshivah will celebrate 60 years of harbatzas Torah—an astounding tenure of building generations of talmidim b’derech haTorah.

It will also pay tribute to special marbitzei Torah whom the yeshivah has been privileged to host over the years; Rabbi Yisroel Goldhaber, Rabbi Meir Goldberger, and Rabbi Yitzchok Perris. It will also commemorate the unforgettable Rabbi Yudel Ackerman who impacted the yeshivah in such a significant way.

Those dedicating a gold page ad and above will receive a special gift of the breathtaking commemorative 200 page historical volume on the 60 year history of the yeshivah.

This pre dinner event is an opportunity for the Lakewood alumni to show their hakaras hatov to this special mossad that has done so much to mold them, and to the mechanchim who have so inspired them.
