Veolia Water crews are scheduled to begin hydrant flushing operations in some Toms River neighborhoods this week.

The project is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 4th and run until about November 28th.

Residents can expect lower pressure and discoloration in the water during flushing projects.

This work is weather permitting and gauged on customer use patterns.

There is no weekend or holiday flushing. Hours the crews will work are between approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The projects crews are working on helps ensure reliable water service, quality and proper flows necessary for firefighting.
