Toms River to Hire Additional Emergency Responders, Add More Ambulances

The Toms River Council this evening passes a resolution supporting the hiring of eight additional, full-time Cso/Emt Emergency Responders and providing for additional 24/7 Ambulance Service.

The Council says it is doing so “In the interests of public health and safety, especially for the elderly, infirm, and other vulnerable populations, and to ensure comprehensive and responsive ambulance service throughout the Township.”

The will also adding four ambulances.

The service currently has 17 members.

  1. Thank G-D! Mayor Rodrick is turning out to be a mensch. Maybe we had him all wrong. My neighbors fear the police are not doing enough to protect us from these break ins and car thefts.

    Have they arrested a single person for these crimes? Where is the investigation at? We need answers.
