On August 27, 2014, at 7 pm members of the Special Enforcement Team negotiated the purchase of crack cocaine from Fernando Reyes, 20, of Lakewood, who goes by the street name of “Fade”.
During the undercover investigation, Reyes unwittingly directed members of the team to meet him at the Shop Rite located at #2 route 37 West.
Reyes met the investigators in the parking lot and he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and buprenorphine, an opiate commonly prescribed by physicians to treat severe pain.
Reyes was placed under arrest and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the buprenorphine.
Bail was set at $30,000 with no option for 10%. Reyes was lodged at the Ocean County Jail.

surely nit an illegal, just saying
Buprenorphine is NOT a painkiller. It is a prescription medicine used to treat Opioid Addiction. It’s known as Naloxone.
Hey # 1 learn how to spell & how do you know where his citizenship is????? Sounds like a bit of profiling if I didn’t know any better.
Its primary uses in medicine are in the treatment of those addicted to opioids, such as heroin and oxycodone, but it may also be used to treat pain; most often in transdermal patch form. Via wikepidia
