The Toms River Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a strong-arm robbery suspect.

At approximately 9:50 AM today, multiple units were dispatched to the 7-Eleven located on the corner of Washington St. & Whittier Ave. for a reported robbery.

Upon arrival Raymond Graziosi stated he was walking on Washington Street when a male in a white Volkswagon Jetta or Passat with tinted windows stopped his car to offer him a ride. When he refused the ride the male got out of the car and demanded all of Mr. Graziosi’s money. Mr. Graziosi specified the male held his left hand in his jacket in an attempt to make it look like he had a weapon although no weapon was shown. He was not injured during the robbery.

Mr. Graziosi described the driver as a black male with short hair with short dreadlocks wearing dark pants and a gray jacket, and the passenger in the car, as a black male with a black jacket and dark skull cap covering his head.
