Toms River Police Department to Crack Down on Violations

TLS has received the following message released by the Toms River Police Department.

Due to an overwhelming amount of recent complaints throughout the entire town, the police department will be cracking down on all traffic violations observed. There will be no additional warnings issued. While the Department will not actively be looking out for infractions, effective immediately TRPD will be giving summonses (a ticket) to any violations observed nonetheless.

All violations (even minor) like not parking head on in a cul-de-sac (must be parked along the curb), keeping 50 ft from stop signs, keeping 25 ft to a corner or not parking against traffic, will all be enforced.

Please be mindful about this and let your neighbors know.
