Tomchei Shabbos Distributes Over $500,000 Worth Of Pesach Necessities To Needy Lakewood Families

PHOTO/VIDEO SLIDE SHOW (Contains music). Dozens of volunteers are working around the clock as Tomchei Shabbos moves into high gear during the organization’s busiest week of the year.

By Pesach, the organization will have distributed over a half million dollars worth of food and Pesach necessities to over 350 needy families in Lakewood.

You can take part in the Zchus of the great operation, by helping Tomchei Shabbos cover their growing budget.

By donating $136, you can cover the cost of a family’s entire Seder.

I am envious of the schar that Rabbis Schrieber ,Trainer , and Slomiuc get for being matzil hundreds of families from not having their basic needs for Pesach.

Very impressive but I think most impressive is that it seems many younger men/boys are helping. They are off from yeshiva and instead sitting around telling themselves they need a “break” they work hard, very physical work. Any parent should encourage their teenage sons to volunteer in any shape and it will give them a tremedous boost of selfesteem and belonging. Thank you all

The Job Rabbi Trainer does is truly amazing. The innovative ideas and the professionalism that he has brought to Tomchei Shabbos has helped it reach new caliber on how run a organization. I am privileged to be one of his many friends, and hopefully shortly I should have the zechus and to be lucky enough to be from the big donors to this Chushavah organization.
