TOMA Teams Up with Wells Fargo to offer Exclusive Event for Lakewood’s Bravest & Finest

TOMA is proud to present their second workshop in a series they have been providing free of charge to the community. For this event, TOMA has teamed up with Wells Fargo to present an exclusive event dedicated to the First Responders of Lakewood and their families with a focus on real estate transactions including the purchase and refinance of homes.

TOMA’s first event, held this past August, was a free educational workshop to the community on the home buying process. Based on the overwhelming response and tremendous success of this session, TOMA’s senior staff realized that there is a tremendous need in bridging the knowledge gap between the professionals in the industry and the average laymen who is in the market to purchase their first home. Many end users are unaware of how to navigate the financing requirements of obtaining a mortgage for a purchase or even refinancing an existing loan to gain the benefits of a lower interest rate that may be available.

In considering their next event, TOMA decided to focus on giving back to those in the community that always give of themselves first, namely, the Police, Fire, First Responders, and Community Volunteers. By teaming up with Wells Fargo and presenting financing options that are amenable specifically to this exclusive group, TOMA is proud to present this workshop.

Because this workshop is focused on how we can possibly help all our dedicated public service professionals, TOMA will not only be focusing on the Home Purchase portion but also address the refinance process. TOMA has partnered with one of Wells Fargo’s top mortgage professionals who marked his career in servicing the financing needs that are unique to the members of Police, Fire and First Responders. He has serviced communities along the eastern seaboard between New York and Florida. Whether they are buying their first home, moving onto a bigger home or simply eligible to capture the great low interest rates currently available in today’s environment, this event would be advantageous for them to attend.

Often, potential or current homeowners know disjointed bits of information regarding the purchase or refinance process but do not have a clear picture of what they can actually do. Without proper knowledge or guidance one can wind up spending far more money or time than necessary. This free workshop, presented for no charge at all by TOMA and Wells Fargo, will guide participants and help them be better-equipped to navigate the industry to help realize their goal of homeownership or favorable financing.

“No one should have to go through the process confused,” says Yehuda Ungar of TOMA. “Our goal is to simplify the process, create transparency and break down the steps of a purchase or refinance so that potential buyers and current homeowners will gain a clear understanding of what is being done with their money and how they can maximize all their options available for their use.”

The workshop is not intended to be a sales pitch for any real estate or mortgage service. It will be an informal workshop to clarify the many topics of vital importance to the home buying and financing process, after which attendees will be able to ask questions of the professionals on hand. No homes for sale will be displayed nor applications filled out.

The main presentations will be delivered by Mr. Yehuda Ungar of TOMA, a boutique real estate services company, who has many years of experience in real estate and has been presenting workshops and training events for years formerly as a Principal at Bank of America Securities. Steve Edenbaum of Wells Fargo will provide insight into the actual financing and/or refinancing of your home. With decades in the industry and a vast network of happy clients within the first responder community, Steve is most eloquently prepared in servicing our special members in Lakewood.

The workshop will be held in the Municipal Building on Thursday, February 14th with two sessions to accommodate the first responders’ different shifts. They will be able to attend the morning session from 9-11 AM or an evening shift from 6-8 PM. Each shift will have light refreshments and drinks and there is no cost to attend or to bring a family member or friend.

Although you can register at [email protected], walk-ins are welcome as well.

“It is an honor to offer my knowledge and skills back to those who give so much to our community; it is the least I can do” Mr. Ungar says. “Those coming will be offered a tremendous amount of knowledge and information; they won’t regret it.”
