In order to assist with the evacuation process, the Governor announced today that he is temporarily suspending tolls on parts of the GSP beginning 8:00 AM Friday morning. The following is an alert issued by the Turnpike Authority: Attention Motorists On The Garden State Parkway And Atlantic City Expressway — All tolls will be suspended beginning at 8am Friday on the Atlantic City Expressway and on the Garden State Parkway for all points south of the Driscoll Bridge (including on exits/entrances). Why not DOUBLE the toll for people heading south on the GSP towards the hurricane?
raise the tolls to pay for all the damages
because some people are going to get their frightened family and for the others, their home is only place they have.
Where is the Driscoll Bridge??
Otherwise known as the raritan bridge between exit 125 and exit 127 which is used for the outerbridge croosing.
