Toddler Airlifted to Hospital with Severe Burns

medevac state police 4-11-14A Lakewood toddler ‎was airlifted to the hospital this afternoon after receiving serious burns, officials say.

The approximately 18 month-old boy reportedly grabbed a hot coffee from a counter, and suffered‎ burns to his arms. A parent was nearby at the time, an official said.

Hatzolah Paramedics transported the boy to a Prospect Street landing zone from where he was airlifted to the Saint Barnabas Burn Center in Livingston.

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau responded to the home to investigate the incident.

Our community is one big family and we all care for one another ‘s well being – as such when this story was posted on TLS we were all deeply conncerned for this little boy and of course for his parents.
