Red Cross: The American Red Cross is partnering with the Lakewood Fire Department to help make Lakewood homes safer.

This Sunday, September 22, from 11 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. we’ll be out in Pine Acres neighborhoods visiting homes, providing fire safety information, and installing free smoke alarms in homes that need them. This is part of our national Home Fire Campaign which was launched in 2014 and has already helped save more than 2,000 lives across the country.
