Tonight: Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and Bikur Cholim to Hold Free ACA Information Event

MMCSC3586-Name-Change-Ad-Ad-425x300-v2As a public service to the community, Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus and Lev Rochel Bikur Cholim of Lakewood are joining together to hold an informative session helping residents figure out their options in terms of insurance and alleviate any questions and confusions they may have regarding ACA (Affordable Care Act/ Obamacare).

MMCSC says, “proper health insurance is a vital commodity, even for the most hale and hearty among us. While the advent of the Obamacare era has left many floundering in confusion as to what their options are, there is one general consensus: Remaining uninsured is not a viable option. With so many confounded by the realities of the Affordable Care Act and its implications on their own and their family’s situation, there is a need for clear direction that will guide the individual toward a plan that will suit his family’s needs.”

Certified ACA experts will be on hand to describe the insurance options under the ACA and help attendees choose a plan that best suits their needs and potentially help them enroll in the ACA insurance marketplace. Experts will help those uninsured find the right plan and can also discuss options available under Medicaid, Family Care and Charity Care.

This free program will be held today Monday, November 17th from 6 pm to 8 pm at Bikur Cholim, 93 Prospect Street in Lakewood, across the street from Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus.
