Rabbi Shai Markowitz Director, Lefkowitz Leadership Initiative: On the 7th of Cheshvan the neshama of HaRav Yehuda Meir ben HaRav Yaakov Shimshon Shapiro ascended to the yeshiva shel mala, greeted by all the mesechtos of Talmud Bavli, heartily welcomed by the Tananaim and Amoraim he introduced to Klal Yisrael.

On this day, let us strengthen ourselves in our commitment to the eternal lifeline he cast and dedicate today’s learning to him, yehi zicro baruch.
