Over the past few weeks, you should have received a Lakewood Board of Ed, B6T form from your school administration. This form needs to be completed and sentback to your school in order to receive transportation for next year – should you be eligible.
This form, attached, must be received by the Lakewood BOE transportation Department by today, March 15th, in order to be guaranteed a seat on a bus for next year.
“If you have not yet filled out the form, please take a moment to do so,” says Thransportation Committee Chairman Joel Schwartz. “It will save you a much greater headache later of your child not being placed on a bus.”
“This form is critical in the creation of bus routes. Last year many of these forms came in late and the bus routes could not be put together on time which in turn resulted in delays and service failures well into the school year. This year, we expect an additional 2,500 students entering the system and we trying very hard for a much smoother start. We need your help to make it happen.”
Schwartz notes, “We understand that there are few exception i.e. primary and 9th grade students who are not yet placed or students moving into or within the district. We will do our best to accommodate you.” TLS.
Can you please post contact info/email for the board members?
thanks!
I did not get my son into yeshiva for primary yet. Should I fill it out with the yeshiva that I am trying to get into?
TLS editor, or any other reader,
does anyone know where to find contact info for the members of the school board? It is not on the district website.
What about the girls being ignored by the community who havent been placed in schools yet 🙁
When will the kehila gather the ffunds to open more schools so tthat all primary and 9th grade ggirls have schools .
Anyone with questions regarding the B6T form or anything transportation related, feel free to contact me via email at [email protected]
I will try and help you as best as I can.

Please note .nobody is being ignored . it takes millions of dollars to open new schools and every year we need several new schools . we are all equally responsible to do this . The people who have opened schools in the past are the only ones that actually did something and for some reason they seem to get blamed for the shortage which is our fault for not collectively raising the funds to keep opening more schools .
