[COMMUNICATED] The weather is cooler, the leaves are changing and falling; it’s the perfect time to celebrate fall in Lakewood. Today, Sunday, October 23rd, One Ocean County, together with the Ocean County Cultural and Heritage Commission, and Jewish Federation of Ocean County, will be hosting a Fall Festival event at their Common Grounds community garden.
This event will be free and has something for every age to enjoy. All residents of Ocean County are invited to come and enjoy the free hot-drink bar, fresh popcorn, a petting zoo, crafts activities for the kids, garden tours, vendor booths and an educational Revolutionary War Trailer courtesy of the Cultural and Heritage Commission. Participants will enjoy live performances at 3:00 and 5:30 produced by Chananya Begun and featuring alumni from his Lakewood based organization, Young Talent Initiative. All refreshments at the event will be kosher and there will also be a kosher food truck with hot food available for purchase throughout the event.
A special thank you to NJ’s Department of Health for generously sponsoring the refreshments for this event as well as our other event sponsors including First Commerce Bank and OceanFirst Bank.
