Hatzolah, Bikur Cholim and Chemed will be holding its 8th annual Community Health Screening event for men today. The annual event, says Hatzolah, has already saved many lives as a result.

Last year’s event attracted hundreds of men, many whom have discovered serious medical condition they were previously unaware of, an event coordinator tells TLS.

The screening includes testing for Blood Pressure, Heart rate, Oxygen Saturation, Glucose, Cholesterol and BMI.

This year’s screening will take place at Chemed’s Auditoruim (1771 Madison Ave) between the hours of 12:30PM-6PM.

Due to lengthy wait times in the past, some changes were put in place to speed up the process, says the Coordinator.

There is a suggested $5 donation to help cover some of the expenses.
