I am glad it is resolved, thanks for being there for our community. Zei gebenched.
Can one assume that if the comment section is closed then the post is a paid ad? Truthfully, I feel (you may feel and do otherwise) that ads should be clearly labeled as such.
Unable to Comment, TLS Commenter Desperately Trying to Make Contact With the Outside World
A TLS Commenter, who was unable to post comments on the website on Thursday due to technical glitches, used his tongue and larynx (voice box) in a desperate attempt to make contact with the outside world.
“Can anyone hear me?!” he hollered in desperation. “Please help me! I’m locked inside the comments section! It’s broken! Get me out of here, please! Hurry! Thanx.”
However, a TLS spokesman reassured the public that the aforementioned commenter would be “just fine”.
“He has nothing to worry about because our comments section is one of the safest places in the world,” the TLS spokesman said. “What’s more, the comments section will be up and running in no time, and then the commenter can tell us all about his harrowing experience being locked inside a comments section filled with imaginary ghosts, bats and squeaky doors.”
However, a friend of the commenter told reporters on Thursday that his friend had completely disassembled his computer hoping to locate the source of the commenting glitch.
“Problem is, I don’t think he knows how to reassemble the computer,” the commenter’s friend lamented, “which means he might be lost to us forever! Oye!”
Welcome back!
Out of curiosity, why do I now get an email every time a comment got approved?
It seems unnecessary.
I would prefer to only get an email if my comment was rejected.
