TLS: Thank You for Sponsoring Over 140 Sedarim ($20,000) During our 2-week Kimcha D’Pischa Fundraiser!

thank youThank You! Whether you donated a full Seder for $136, or part of a Seder, you helped us surpass our fundraising goal beyond our expectations!

During our annual two-week online web-a-thon held on behalf of Kimcha D’Pischa (a division of Tomchei Shabbos Lakewood), our readers donated the Sedarim of 147 less-fortunate Lakewood families – totaling $20,635!

Kupas Kimcha D’Pischa –  a 501(c)3 tax-deductible charity – provides some 650 families in our community with all Yom Tov food essentials, from wine and matzoh to fish, meat, poultry, potatoes, produce, canned goods and more.

May the Zechus of helping these less-fortunate families be a Zechus for you and your families.

  1. Kudos to TLS for grabbing this by the horns a few years ago and running with it.

We all know that they are our Kuppa and our responsibility. TLS has the pulse of the town and is there when it counts.

It would be remiss not to mention Rabbi Yankel Trainer and his 24/7 dedication, to the success of Tomchei being able to serve the klal. He is a genius in fundraising and a non stop storm, never sleeps, always there for anyone

  2. Amazing job TLS ! Keep up the great work of being on the cutting-edge of news and chesed .
kudos to rabbi trainer and the entire tomchei shabbis team for running such a laudatory operation.

  3. I can’t open any paper or website and not be blown away by the work that YY Trainer does. As a fellow fundraiser I know he’s the go to guy for advice by all our colleagues in Lakewood, and obviously the go to guy for me. Chazak Veamatz

  4. Wow. Those numbers are impressive. Mi ki’amcha yisroel.

“Give credit where credit is due”- TLS took part in this program, which is an integral part of the campaign.

Also a shootout is due for rabbi trainer. .. He has put in hours and hours before pesach to cover this year’s pesach budget.

I personally know that he hasn’t slept more than 3-4 hours each night in the 3 weeks leading up to pesach.
Huge kudos. I’m jealous of his selflessness.
