A reader recently shared with TLS fascinating images of Nazi memorabilia collected by an Allied fighter during World War II.
The reader told TLS that the images were given by a colleague who inherited the collection from their mother, who in turn had received the Nazi medals from her uncle who fought the Nazis between 1941 and 1945. Each time he merited to kill a Nazi, he would make sure to take on of the medals hanging on the deceased Nazi’s uniform and kept them as souvenirs.
The reader told TLS that seeing the Nazi memorabilia brought him to tears.
“As the grandson of four Holocaust survivors who had lost their families at the hands of the Nazis y”sh, seeing these relics of the past moved me to tears.”
I don’t see the point in posting this, why are we publicizing it?
@lkwdguy. All of these pins are from a Nazi who was killed during WW2. Its now close to purim. So we are celebrating the destruction of the Soneh Yisrael. Thats probably why its publicized now. I think its a great post!
