Who ever asked you guys for this that you listened to them??
We’ve received requests to update the section based on newly available features. Is there something you don’t like about it?
Yes, I don’t like it because it’s starting to look like the comment section on facebook now
I actually think its a step in the right direction! And it takes a lot of effort and time and money to push an update like this. The least you can do is say THANK YOU!
Another idea which TLS might think is good: Make it that anytime someone replies to your comment, you get an email notifying you (of course with an opt-out option/unsubscribe). So many times ppl say things and miss out when others respond.
I’m pretty sure that this feature was always available and still is.

I’m sorry, TLS but this was a horrible decision. The fact that it wasn’t like that made TLS a cut above the rest. Now unfortunately, the comments section is like all the others.
Is there any new features or just a new look? Also, is there a way for me to view all my previous comments?
I think its a bad idea. TLS was always a true, honest, professional news source and the old style grew on everyone. this is trying to be new and chic and i dont think its who TLS is. Its nice and new but stick to who you are
I had in mind for months to ask TLS to perhaps add this feature, so I for one am very appreciative of this added feature..
I’m getting too many downvotes and it’s starting to really hurt and I’m starting to think that perhaps this upgrade is not such a great idea after all.. if anyone out there cares to give me an upvote it’ll be appreciated! (I’m bracing for a lot of down votes on this latest comment- can’t win)
Like everything else, it is going to take time to get used to. It is good to shake things up every so often.
Thanks for adding this feature. I really appreciate the like feature.
However, can you remove the dislike feature, or possibly make it a total of likes minus dislikes? It’s hard to look at the 2 numbers next to each other.
For example, substack only has likes, and if you dislike it, you just ignore.
