Switch the pattern back to original and make it no turns by the light! Enough already with Genius Lakewood engineers 😞😔

Oey: why do they speed like that! County Line Road becomes 1 lane in that area. From the way the vehicles are mangled: both vehicles (or one speeding worse than the other) must’ve been doing double of the 40mph speed limit. It’s terrible the way some people speed. I use that new left turning lane everyday, while going the speed limit and signaling to enter that new turning lane some vehicles tailgate me like maniacs; Sunday morning a guy in a black sportage tailgated me and speeded past me like a mad man, I would think that someone is dying in his vehicle, than I caught up to him and I had seen him drive into Gourmet Glatt.
Speedy recovery to all of them.

As soon as I saw the picture I knew it’s speed related. Terrible and unnecessary accident.

It almost seems like everyone is on the same schedule going to the same places at the same time every day. It’s like clockwork. Maybe carpooling would help

Lakewood needs speed trap cameras, red light cameras and big city enforcement. Safer streets for us, more money for the township. It’s a win win.

How’s the turning lane doing?!

On Rosh HaShana or Yom Kippur Hashem already decided how much Parnassa you will be getting this year. No point to rush anywhere, it’s almost impossible to change the numbers of Hashem, unless you say Tehillim with real and serious sincerity and of course Tshuva (I will leave this detail for the Rabbonim).
My main point is that by driving in an irregular way, you will not gain one extra penny. If you managed to gain an extra dime, no need to worry, Hashem will definitely make sure that you may lose a dime.
Also Lakewood is full of Gmachim. If we drive like a Mentsch, we can look at it as if it’s a Gmach. All the people that are driving next to you, they will definitely appreciate your wonderful driving behavior similar to a Gmach.

on Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur it was decided who will get into an accident, still we our obligated to do our part and figure out if the new traffic pattern was a cause.

That turning lane is completely unnecessary and even dangerous. There already is a turning signal! Waste of tax dollars and a hazard. get rid of it

In response to SS: what tax dollars! All that the county had to do was scrub off some dried paint and repaint a different pattern.
The new turning lane is good: I use it everyday; before the change: to make my left turn I had to slow traffic down in the left traffic lane in fear that someone distracted and doing 70mph will “g-d forbit” hit me from behind, which had happened there recently too much times. And the county doesn’t make any traffic changes before doing a thorough study.

Whoever decided to approve this new traffic pattern should be sued by the people injured
