Thursday night, the 26th of Av, will mark the 32nd Yhortzeit of the Satmar Rebbe, Reb Yoel Teitelbaum Zatzal. Each year, thousands, including hundreds of Lakewood residents, make their way to the Tzion, which is located in Kiryas Yoel, Monroe, New York.

Last year I went with a friend to the tzion of the satmar rebbi in Monroe NY. On the way home my friend said to me let’s go see the home where the rebbi lived, we where guided to a house on Bakertown Rd and the owner of the house Mrs Schlesinger that loaned the house to the rebbi where he lived for the last five years of his life gave us a tour of the rooms where everything is still preserved like it was when reb yolish lived,the rooms where he learned,davened,his seforim and the kvital room is still intacked like it was when he was alive, it was an amazing experience.
