Thousands of Lakewood Families Benefit from Moadim L’Simcha’s Bi-Annual Event

Moadim L’Simcha on Tuesday held their bi-annual food distribution operation, supplying thousands of Lakewood families with large quantities of Yom Tov food and necessities at below-retail prices.

The event  took place in the Blue Claws stadium parking lot, where tractors unloaded thousands of pallets of items.

The purpose of the event is to relieve some of the burden the larger families carry during the Yom Tov season.

moadim 2Chaveirim volunteers were on hand to ensure the massive operation flowed smoothly.

  1. I want to first compliment moadim lisimcha for doing what they do, I cannot begin to tell you how they help people feel like they can afford good food for Yom tov when they wouldn’t be able to in a normal retail store.

The reason why I am writing this is because I could not get an order this year which my family needed because I work late Monday thru Friday and usually rely on a Sunday pickup.

If there is any way to keep this on a Sunday so all who really need it can benefit from this amazing organized program it would be even more amazing.

    Tizku limitzvos.

  2. I just wanted to thank all who r involved in this amazing organizations for what they do they realy help out families in need in the nicest way possible. Tizku l’mitzvos! The eibeshter should pay back kaifel kiflayim! A git gebenched yur!

  3. Thanks so much to the many many volunteers–every pickup goes more smoothly thanks to all of you!
to #1–Please contact Moadim L’simcha before next Yom Tov, there were many boys on hand this year to help those who had a hard time putting together their orders by themselves, if this is how they’ll do it maybe someone could go for you knowing there will be a strong capable young man to assist them.
Once again our heartfelt thanks to Moadim L’Simcha for your tremendous efforts and the way you continue to streamline this event to make it as easy and dignified for all of us as possible. Tizku L’Mitzvos!

  4. wish i knew there would be help. being that i am disabled i could not commit to order as i had no idea how i could get my order together. i could have used the discounted prices as i have been unemployed for several months.
