VIDEO of an acrobat team performing for several hundred children at the Kanfei Yonah camp. Today, was the first day of the season for the camp, as well as for many other camps around Lakewood. Warning: Do not attempt to try these stunts as they could cause serious bodily injury.

First day of camp?!
Camp Shalom, one of the biggest day camps in Lakewood started last week.
Your title should be “First Day for Some Camps”.
I heard camp shalom is one of the biggest and best camps in lakewood for laKewooders by lakewooders.
Camp shalom you want to get pr pay for it!!
why you picking on that? thousand, hundred- big deal…that’s not the point
This is insane how we are entertaining our kids show, show and more shows, cut it out of the camp budget get the kids more active in good old fashion camp actvities and camps would be cheaper and more normal. This is nuts!
I’m sure there will be more shows!!! Why??? There is absulutely no reason for it, camp directors you get paid, entertain the kids!
I am horrified that my son watched this! This is not what I expected from this camp!
for all those that are jealous of CKY and have to submit comments such as “camp SHALOM is from the BEST and BIGGEST camps in lkwd” and “i dont see 1000’s of campers”, seriously grow up! just enjoy the camp that you’re in, and forget about who’s BIGGER and BETTER
#1 can you seriously not read an article properly? Where does it say there were thousands of kids at kanfei yona??? It says thousands of kids today are enjoying their first day of camp. Sheesh.
That was amazing!!!!
Are we suggesting to our ‘Tiara kinderlach’ that this is chashivus ?
I know for a fact that after such shows kids go on for days or weeks trying to copy what they’ve seen. Some nudge their mommies (of course not their totties) for lessons in who knows what, and many mommies find it difficult to say no. I think having an athlete as a role model is definitely a statement that many parents don’t want to make but they don’t see far enough down the line, or they refuse to believe that little things like this make a lasting impression. ” they’ll forget about it, they’re only kids” is a common mistaken excuse. Someone should point out to R. Weber or whoever is in charge that before exposing their children to some outside influences that may be questionable to some, Parents should have the foreknowledge of (exactly) what’s going to take place and at the very least have the option of keeping their child home that day, or better, have an alternate activity. This was obviously not done as you can see from the previous comments.
too #15 RR. that is a warped way of thinking. don’t take a kid on a plane cause the kid will want to be a pilot,or look at an electrition cause hell want to be an electrion etc. maybe he shouldn’t look at his parents so he won’t be a blogger!
