May he rest in peace
is this officer from lakewood?
N.J. State Trooper Marc Castellano is the fallen officer..
from howell
Thanks to all our brave police officers from across the state. Officer Castellano, may he rest in peace.
Why is the first thing that the scoop mentions in an article about a fallen trooper have to be a Lakwood Sgt? How about the troopers brother, also carrying the casket?
To #6
Sgt Work is a member of the LPD and so he is a familiar face to many of the TLS readership.
He is also a cousin of the Trooper Marc Castellano.
BTW Marc Castellano interned in Lakewood during recent summers.
First of all my heart and prayers go out for the family of NJ State Trooper Marc Castellano. Second in defense of the “Lakewood” scoop, notice the word “Lakewood”, the scoop first reported this tragic event from the moment this sad event happened. So why be a hater, when they report the fact that Sgt Work from “Lakewood” was a pall bearer as he is a cousin of the fallen Trooper. I am sure that if TLS wanted everyones names, ranks and affiliations, it wouldn’t have been the proper time to ask. So be thankful for up to the date news reporting for most “Lakewood” events, and even “Howell” where the Trooper lived. Third a fund has been set up for the 2 children whcih is the most important thing here.
A loyal reader in defense of TLS.
